Mailing a personal postcard requires information about the customer and each intended recipient. This policy explains how TF2 Postcards handles that information.
Information we receive
We may receive customer names, email addresses, PayPal transaction details, order selections, recipient names and mailing addresses, personal messages, correspondence, and information needed to prepare, mail, or support an order.
Do not include sensitive information—such as Social Security numbers, financial account details, medical records, passwords, or confidential authentication information—in a postcard message or recipient file.
How the order page handles recipient data
The recipient fields on the static order page are processed in your browser to create a CSV file on your device. The full recipient list and messages are not placed into the PayPal form. PayPal receives a compact order reference, design, recipient count, quantity, and price.
To complete an order, you voluntarily email the CSV to service@tf2demos.com. Email transmission is not risk-free. Review the file and recipients before sending it.
How we use information
- Respond to questions and provide customer service
- Match a recipient file with a payment
- Review, prepare, print, address, and mail postcards
- Correct or support an order
- Prevent fraud, misuse, or prohibited content
- Maintain necessary business records and comply with law
When information may be shared
Information may be shared with service providers involved in payment, email, hosting, printing, data preparation, mailing, professional advice, fraud prevention, or legal compliance. Recipient names, addresses, and postcard content may necessarily be visible to printing and postal service providers that fulfill the mailing.
Payment is completed through PayPal, which handles payment information under its own privacy practices. TF2 Postcards does not ask customers to enter card or bank credentials on tf2demos.com.
We do not sell personal information for money, and we do not use private recipient lists or personal messages for unrelated marketing.
Retention and security
We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for order fulfillment, service, records, disputes, fraud prevention, and legal obligations. No method of electronic storage, email transmission, printing, or postal delivery is completely secure. We use reasonable measures appropriate to the information and service.
Your choices and rights
You may ask to access, correct, or delete information you provided, subject to identity verification, order status, recordkeeping duties, and other legal exceptions. Depending on your location, additional privacy rights may apply.
The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. Customers should not submit a child’s address or personal information without appropriate authority.
Policy changes
We may update this policy as the service or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the latest posted version.
